Canada’s largest vanlife and outdoor enthusiast festival is back for its 9th edition!

From September 18 to 21, El Campo once again promises to bring the community together with the sound of music, waves, and the steady arrival of engines one after another. This year, we’re heading to a Go-Van favorite: Baie de Beauport in Québec City. Why this location? Because it’s the perfect place to combine loads of vans, waterfront vibes, and a festive atmosphere! Close your eyes for a second: you’re dancing in front of the Mix Bus, feet in the sand, a crackling campfire behind you by the water… Got the picture? Sold!

Why Baie de Beauport?

Baie de Beauport is a hidden gem just minutes from downtown Québec City. It’s a true urban oasis where you can sink your feet in the sand and gaze out over the St. Lawrence River. It’s rare to find a van camping spot that offers a beach, water activities, and breathtaking views, all within walking distance (literally!) of Old Québec.

We were looking for a spot that’s accessible, well-equipped, spacious enough to welcome our big vanlife family, and packed with good vibes—and we found it. With its vast open space, inclusive layout, clean facilities, range of activities, chill zones, and those legendary sunsets, Baie de Beauport checks every box to host El Campo just right.

For the Chill-Seekers and the Adventurers

If you’re coming to El Campo to relax, you’ll be able to kick back with your feet in the sand or read a book under the shade along the shore. But if you’re the type who’s always looking for action, you won’t have a single dull moment. Here’s a taste of the activities available right on-site at Baie de Beauport:
Swimming in the St. Lawrence River (refreshing guaranteed!)

  • Water play areas for all ages
  • Water fun with paddleboards, jet skis, windsurfing, kitesurfing & more
  • Treat yourself to ice cream at the dairy bar
  • Play beach volleyball or pickleball with your van neighbors
  • Grab a drink at Bar Corona with a view of the St. Lawrence River.
  • Climb at Délire Parc Escalade
  • Ride the on-site pump track by bike
  • Walk or run on the coastal bike path, accessible from the site
  • Explore Old Québec, just minutes away

Comfort Comes Standard

Because comfort matters too (especially after a packed day), Baie de Beauport offers modern, clean, and accessible facilities:
Showers (yes, hot ones!)

  • Toilets
  • A fully equipped sanitary block
  • Bonus: An indoor venue ready to host our evening events if Mother Nature throws us a curveball! No matter the weather, the party goes on.

El Campo: More Than Just an Event – It’s an Experience

Every year, El Campo is a chance to gather, reconnect with the community, share road trip stories over coffee (or a local Archibald IPA), enjoy live music under the stars, and discover artisans, brands, and initiatives that align with our values.

We come to have fun, learn, get inspired… and most importantly, to feel like we belong. No matter your van model, travel experience, or the miles you’ve logged—everyone is welcome at El Campo. It’s an inclusive, kind-hearted space where the vanlife lifestyle truly comes alive.

Want to Camp With Us?

Whether you’re a longtime El Campo fan or curious about diving into the vanlife world for the first time—you’re more than welcome!

We welcome all converted vans under 25 feet (Class B & C), modified buses, truck campers, rooftop tents, converted minivans and SUVs, and military-style vehicles. Small trailers like Boler and Trillium are also accepted, but cars will need to be parked in a designated area.

You can choose to stay two nights, three nights, or just spend a day with us! Tickets are on sale now (spoiler: they go fast!) via Point De Vente. Be sure to follow the event’s Facebook page so you don’t miss any updates.

We can’t wait to see you again! Until then, enjoy your summer, rehearse your favorite campfire songs, and get your camping setup ready. See you at Baie de Beauport, September 18–21!
