We are Natalie and Marc – a couple of Canadians travelling with Walter, our 70-lb adventure mutt.  Our little threesome is a family of wanderlust souls, currently spending half of each year travelling through North and Central America in ‘Slow Sally’, our vintage 1994 Roadtrek van. Prior to 2014, we were full-time employees and weekend warriors, maximizing every hour of vacation we could scrounge. We’ve spent most of our adult lives saving money, plotting our escape from the 9-5 and planning our future travels. In 2014, we quit our full time jobs and converted ‘Neo’, our old Toyota Matrix hatchback, into a “campercar” – using him for 2 trips down to Central America. After 2 wonderful but cramped years travelling in Neo, we decided it was time for an upgrade and in 2017, we bought Slow Sally and she is pure luxury by comparison! We love visiting places where the food, culture, language, climate and architecture are totally foreign to us. Sally has been the adventure vehicle for getting us to the core of these places and letting us explore to our heart’s content.
