As a kid I used to camp in the Saguenay Lac Saint-Jean area but haven’t had the chance to go back and explore this area properly in a very long time. I invited Jill and Kyla, AKA The Abandon Girls, to road trip and go on a few adventures with me. Both from BC, they currently live in a vintage trailer so while they’re familiar with tiny living, I wanted them to have a taste of vanlife as we road tripped about Saguenay.
Here are the highlights of our trip!
1. St-Félicien: Stop by the La Chouape brewery, experience the Quebec wildlife at the zoo.
2. Val-Jalbert ghost town.
3. Via Ferrata (Parc du Fjord-du-Saguenay)
4. Parc Aventures du Cap Jaseux
5. Enjoying the sunset on Voile Mercator sailboat
