A story of passion
Denis Larsen’s love affair with vintage VWs began in 1993, when he bought his first green-and-white Microbus. “At 18, it was my ticket to freedom! I traveled a lot with it in the 90s, from coast to coast.” His journey turned into a love affair with these vehicles, already mythical at the time.
It was in 2020 that he had the chance to rekindle this passion, setting off in search of new vintage cars to start his collection. One of the Beetles was rescued from a field in Saskatchewan, while its Kubelwagen once belonged to the Canadian army. “The idea for Larsen Vintage VW came to me a few years ago, as I wanted to share my passion with others (and give myself an excuse to spend more time with my cars!) […] This isn’t a project to make a living, it’s purely for fun that I’m doing it.”

How does it work?
Interested in a vintage VW? Nothing could be simpler! Denis offers rentals at $80/hr for a minimum of 3 hours. Since he’s the only one who can drive the cars (for insurance reasons), you’ll also need to take into account his travel time. It’s also possible to have a tailor-made package for an all-day event or a very specific project.
